Overview
The Yamaha NVX (known as the Aerox in some markets) is the sporty choice in the 155cc scooter segment, blending aggressive styling with practical everyday usability. Powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve Blue Core engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), it delivers 11.3 kW (15.4 PS) at 8,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The 2025 model introduces significant upgrades including the Yamaha Electric CVT (Y-ECVT) on the SP variant, which enables the Y-Shift "Turbo" function for enhanced acceleration and engine braking. Other new features include a TFT display with three themes (SP), Y-Connect smartphone connectivity, Keyless Start, Start-Stop System, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and a new, more rigid frame. For 2025, the NVX is available in four colors across two variants: Gunmetal Grey and Cyber Blue (SP), and Electric Yellow and Violet Rush (ABS).
